The Capannone farm is another testimony to the past agricultural use of these areas; the forest was intensively used for agricultural and pastoral purposes until the 1950s. Today there is a fully accessible picnic area near the farm, perhaps the most beautiful in the forest. If you don’t want to walk the entire nature trail, the short avenue lined with ancient cypress trees allows you to reach the Sellate stream and return to the parking area.
