Si toccano i due borghi di San Dalmazio e Montecastelli Pisano, roccaforti medievali che si fronteggiano sui 2 versanti opposti della valle, mentre si scorge isolata \u00a0su un poggio la mole possente della Rocca Sillana (sec. X-XV), Monumento Nazionale ristrutturato e visitabile, autentico \u201cfaro\u201d che ci orienta nello sterminato paesaggio multiforme e movimentato della Val di Cecina.<\/p>\n\n<p>Il percorso, senza eccessivi dislivelli, risale la valle rientrando in territorio geotermico con i tipici soffioni boraciferi, vapordotti e torri di raffreddamento.
