Il Percorso fa parte dei 7 Sentieri Natura delle Riserve Naturali e  presenta una guida descrittiva con i punti tappa segnalati e numerati sul tracciato. L’inizio del percorso coincide con un’ area pic-nic della Riserva.
<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sconsigliato subito dopo forti piogge per la presenza di guadi.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c8 il percorso pi\u00f9 spettacolare per scoprire gli importanti minerali della Val di Sterza e per conoscere la storia mineraria di questa porzione delle Colline Metallifere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inizialmente immerso negli ecosistemi torrentizi dello Sterza e del Ritasso, ricalca un ottocentesco tracciato ferroviario nato per il trasporto dei minerali dalla Stazione di Villetta, capolinea di carico di una ricca miniera di lignite, alla localit\u00e0 di Casino di Terra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lungo il percorso si susseguono trincee scavate nella roccia serpentina e spettacolari ponti in pietra. Luoghi suggestivi, inseriti in ambienti ad elevata naturalit\u00e0, con garighe, boscaglie rupestri e vegetazione rara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dopo la diramazione, che conduce nella conca di Villetta ed alla \u201csteccaia\u201d del Ritasso, si sale in direzione di Poggio Castiglione, dove si rinvengono minerali di magnesite, dolomite, quarzo e calcedonio e le tracce del loro passato sfruttamento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nel tratto finale la macchia alta cede il posto ad un bel querceto ad alto fusto con numerosi segni di presenza di cinghiali, caprioli e daini.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
